Happy Monday! This week we are finally getting some spring like weather here in Indy. I am so ready to put my winter clothes away so I have been doing a little bit of shopping for spring clothes. While looking for cute dresses and tops, I discovered The Mint Julep Boutique and I am impressed by all the cute things I found. While browsing around the store, I found this cute chambray dress and instantly fell in love with it. The dress is called the Pin Drop Dress in Chambray and I can see myself styling it in so many ways for spring and summer. Whether it is with some cute flats and a fedora hat or in a more dressy way with heels and statement accessories. Feliz lunes! Esta semana finalmente vamos a tener un clima decente aquí en Indianapolis. Estoy tan lista para guardar mi ropa de invierno que ya comencé a hacer mis compras de primavera. Mientras buscaba por vestidos y blusas, descubrí a The Mint Julep Boutique y me encantó todo lo que encontré. The Mint es una boutique online que tiene una gran selección de ropa, carteras, accesorios y zapatos. Todo es muy trendy y los precios son muy razonables. Mientras estaba buscando en la boutique, encontré este vestido chambray e inmediatamente me enamoré de el. El vestido se llama Pin Drop Dress in Chambray y estoy segura que va a ser uno de mis favoritos durante la primavera y el verano. Este vestido es muy versátil y me veo combinándolo con unas sandalias y un fedora durante los fines de semana, o con unos tacones y accesorios llamativos para un look más elegante. Little Red Blazer

Spring is almost here and I have been trying to incorporate more color into my outfits. One of my favorite colors in fashion is red, it is a great statement color to add to your looks, especially if wearing black and white. I've always thought that the combination of stripes and red is such a classic combination that never goes out of style. It reminds me of the Parisian style, which is very classic and timeless. For this look, I am wearing my favorite red blazer, which I like to call my 'little red blazer' (hence the title of this post!) because it is such a statement piece in my wardrobe. I find myself wearing this blazer in so many different ways, no matter the season. It is one of those pieces that everyone should have in their closets and it would never go out of style. I paired my little red blazer with a striped dress and black booties.

La primavera está llegando y es por eso que le he estado añadiendo más color a mis atuendos. El rojo es uno de mis colores favoritos en la moda. Es un color muy llamativo, especialmente si se combina con blanco y negro. Siempre me ha gustado la combinación de un look con rayas y rojo - es una combinación clásica que nunca pasa de moda. Me recuerda mucho el estilo Parisino, que también es muy clásico y chic. Para este look, combiné mi blazer rojo con un vestido de rayas y botitas negras. El blazer rojo es una de mis piezas de ropa favorita ya que es muy versátil, es una de esas cosas que todo el mundo debería tener en sus closets y nunca va a pasar de moda.

New Look

Welcome back, loves. I am finally sharing a new outfit post after a week of not posting anything here. Today, I am sharing a new outfit post + a new hairstyle! You probably noticed something different  going on with my hair. Yes, there is something different. I booked an appointment with my hairstylist and told her I wanted to cut some bangs. She ended up doing a layered-fringe and added a few more layers on the sides to frame the face. 

¡Hola chicas! Estoy muy feliz de estar de regreso después de una semana sin publicar nada. Hoy quería compartir con ustedes un nuevo atuendo y también contarles acerca de mi nuevo estilo de cabello. Probablemente notaron algo diferente, pues sí, les cuento que decidí hacerme el famoso fleco o "fringe". Sentía que ya era hora de hacerme un pequeño cambio y venia contemplando la idea de cortarme el fleco desde hace un tiempo.

Pink Blazer

Another day, another casual look. Lately I've been loving this shade of blush pink, and I have the perfect excuse since it is a big trend for spring (see more of the trend here). I wanted to keep this look very neutral and soft, so I added a cream-colored lace top and a pair of ripped boyfriend jeans. I liked how the light blue shade from the jeans compliments the other colors in this look. For the accessories, I added a nude pair of heels and my Rebecca Minkoff MAC Handbag. 

Hoy les comparto otro look casual. Últimamente me ha gustado mucho usar este tono de rosa suave, y lo bueno es que tengo la excusa perfecta ya que es una de las tendencias para esta primavera (vean más de esta tendencia aquí). Para el look de hoy, quería incorporar colores muy neutrales y suaves por lo cual escogí usar una blusa de encaje o "lace" color crema y un par de jeans estilo boyfriend. Me gustó como el azul claro de los jeans complementa los demás colores en este atuendo. Para completar el look, escogí accesorios neutrales como el bolso de Rebecca Minkoff.

Casual Stripes

As I get ready to celebrate my birthday tomorrow (yay!) I wanted to share this casual and laid back look with you guys. I love pairing a striped sweater, a cute cardigan and boyfriend jeans. I think it is a very classic combination that looks good on any season. A look like this one is perfect for the weekend or for a day out with friends. 

Mientras me preparo para celebrar mi cumpleaños mañana (¡ya estoy viejita!) les quería compartir este atuendo casual y cómodo. Me encanta esta combinación ya que es un look clásico que funciona para cualquier estación del año. Un atuendo como este sería perfecto para el fin de semana o para una salida con los amigos.

Sporty Chic

This past weekend I got to wear this outfit to have lunch with some really good friends. We went to one of my favorite sushi restaurants near Purdue University and then we tried a new bubble tea place. It was great to spend quality time with my friends since I don't get to see them very often. Moving on to the look, one of my favorite things to do when the weekend arrives is keeping my outfits very comfortable and relaxed. Some of my weekend go-to pieces are a cute pair of sneakers, a cozy jacket and skinny jeans. For this look I added a cozy leopard print scarf since it was a bit cold. 

En esta publicación les quería mostrar el atuendo que utilize durante el fin de semana para ir a comer con unas buenas amistades. Fuimos a mi restaurante de sushi favorito cerca de la Universidad de Purdue y también probamos un lugar nuevo en el que sirven bubble tea. Me encanto ver a mis amigos, ya que no los veía desde hace un tiempo, y pasar un buen rato con ellos. Ahora hablando un poco sobre el atuendo, los fines de semana me encanta utilizar ropa casual y cómoda. Algunas de mis piezas favoritas son un par de zapatos cómodos (usualmente flats o sneakers), un abrigo y un par de skinny jeans. Para este look añadí una bufanda para protegerme del frío.
