Gold Cup Entertaining... With Target #SinTraducción

Entertaining is one of my favorite things to do. I love preparing delicious snacks and drinks to welcome friends and family in my home. This year, I teamed up with Target to show you guys my favorite things to do when watching the Gold Cup, including a delicious pineapple mojito recipe at the end of the post...
The Gold Cup is a world acclaimed event that unites families and friends from all over the world. Being a Caribbean girl myself, I obviously enjoy watching matches between the Caribbean teams. One of my favorite things to do while watching the games is echar relajo (poke fun at the opposite teams) with my loved ones. I also love preparing delicious food and drinks that resemble the culture of the teams playing.
When planning a gathering I always have to stop by my local Target. One of the many things I love about Target is the fact that you only have to make one stop to find all the items you can possibly need for a party. From home-decor to all the food and drinks. Some of the things I found to entertain were cocktail glasses, a glass pitcher to serve water to my guests, a bowl for chips and a tray to serve cheese and other snacks. I also found the perfect gold side-table that doubles as a mini-bar, a must-have for entertaining guests.
Pineapple Mojito Recipe
Yield: 1 Cocktail Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Ingredients:
1 1/2 ounces rum
3 ounces pineapple juice
1 tablespoon sugar
1 ounce club soda
4 fresh mint leaves (extra for garnish)
1 lime wedge
pineapple chunks (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Add the sugar and fresh mint leaves to your serving glass. Muddle both ingredients together until mint is roughly chopped.
2. Add the rum and pineapple juice and stir until sugar is dissolved.
3. Add ice and club soda.
4. Garnish with lime wedge, pineapple chunks and mint leaves.

This was my outfit for movie night yesterday. I love pairing a pretty blouse with boyfriend jeans, I feel like it gives you a laid-back look while still looking feminine and chic. This off-the-shoulder blouse is my current favorite, I already know I'll be wearing it a ton this summer.

The Downtown Indy Farmers Market is back every Wednesday, and I've been enjoying buying fresh produce and flowers every week. I usually ride my bike to the farmers market since it is really close to my apartment. I find it so relaxing, and a great way to take a little break from sitting at a desk all day.
