A cute dress is a "must have" in every girl's closet. It's the most versatile and easy to style piece, no matter the season. For this post, I styled two different looks around this cute dress from H&M. The first look is more winter-appropiate by just adding the infinity scarf and the coat. For the second look, I wanted to add a pop of color, but also keep it very simple. I really like to keep my outfits simple, comfortable but stylish and cute! I hope you like this look for my first "Trendy Tuesday" and stay tuned for lots more to come! :)

En mi opinión, toda chica debe tener en su closet un vestidito bonito, ya que es una de las piezas de ropa más versátil y fácil de combinar para cualquier ocasión. Para este post quise mostrarles como combinar este lindo vestido de H&M en dos maneras diferentes. El primer look es un poco más apropiado para el invierno, ya que incorpora la bufanda y el coat. El segundo look es también apropiado para el invierno, pero tiene un poco más de color. El coral es uno de mis colores favoritos y pienso que este blazer le añade un toque perfecto a este look. ¡Espero que les haya gustado mi primer Trendy Tuesday!

For today's look I wanted to style this new sweater I got from Forever 21. The moment I saw it I knew I had to get it! I just love what it says, and it's very soft and warm. For bottoms, I've been loving the "skort" trend since summer, so I decided to add some thights and make it appropiate for winter. What do you guys think of this look? Ohh, and if you didn't notice, I changed my hair a little bit! :) I added a bit more color to the subtle ombré I already had. My hair stylist also added a few more layers! I really like it so far.

Una de mis resoluciones para el nuevo año fue comenzar a escribir en español en el blog. Español es mi primer idioma, y pienso que es uno de los idiomas más hermosos... ¿Están de acuerdo? 

Para el look de hoy, quizé estrenar este sweater que encontré en Forever 21. Desde el momento en que lo ví, supe que tenía que comprarlo ¡fue amor a primera vista! Me encanta el mensaje y el hecho de que es bien cómodo y calientito para el invierno. Para la parte de abajo, decidí utilizar mi falda pantalón, tendencia que surgió desde el verano pasado. Para hacer esta falda un poco más apropiada para el invierno, le añadí las medias negras. ¿Qué les parece este look? Ahh, y por si no se dieron cuenta, le dí un pequeño cambio a mi cabello. Mi estilista le añadió más color al estilo ombré que ya tenía, y también le añadió mas capas. ¡Me gusta mucho hasta ahora!

Happy Thursday! Welcome to the first look of the year! :)

For me, 2014 started with a lot of positivism and energy! The only thing missing it's some warm weather! 

We've been getting some snow here in the Midwest, and I am not a big fan, especially when you are from the caribbean! When I first moved here, the difference in weather was one of the hardest things for me to get used to. Now I am pretty much used to it, I just need to master my skill of driving in the snow, sometimes it can be pretty scary. One thing that I really like about winter is the fashion! I personally think that you can transform a boring look into a more fashionable outfit with just a pretty coat and a nice pair of boots. For this look, I bundled up in my cozy scarf from H&M and my favorite trench coat. I am also wearing the most comfy boots from JustFab.com! I've been really liking this website lately, especially because they have a great selection of boots.

HAPPY NEW YEAR MY LOVES!!

I hope you guys had an amazing New Years Eve with your loved ones. I am very happy to start 2014 with a lot of hope that this will be an amazing year for me. 2013 was a really good year but I am looking forward to a fresh new start! I wanted to thank you guys for always supporting my blog this year, I found a passion in blogging and I hope I can continue doing it for a long time!
