Burgundy + Chevron

Happy Sunday! 

Even though we are still in summer, Fall is coming up so I am starting to take a peek at the fall pieces I see in the stores. When I saw this skirt, the first thing that came up to my mind was how versatile it is. You can wear this skirt in so many ways and transform it into a fall and winter piece. Just add some leggings and a cozy jacket and you're set! Today, I wore it with a chevron crop top and my black booties. If you don't like heels, this outfit will look great with some black flats! I have to admit that I changed to my flats when I finished the shoot! :)

Recipe of the Week: Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Ingredients:
1. 1 Cup of Chocolate (of your choice). I recommend chocolate chips as they are easier to melt.
2. 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil.
3. Washed and dried Strawberries.

*Prepare a plate with parchment paper and place you heat-proof bowl on top of a pan with simmering water. Make sure the bowl does not touch the water. 

 Process:
4. Add the teaspoon of oil. Vegetable oil has no flavor, this will just add that nice shine to the strawberries.
5. Let the chocolate melt and stir continuosly with a spatula.
6. Dip the strawberries and cover them with chocolate.
7. After you have covered each strawberry with your melted chocolate, place them in the parchment paper and let them cool in the fridge for 15 min. approx.

Last Summer Days...

Hey loves! 

Hope you are all doing great! Today, I woke up with a lot of energy and feeling really happy and blessed. I am usually a really positive person, but today was a little extra happiness, maybe it's because of the beautiful sunny day we are having today. 

Inspired by the great summer weather, I decided to wear my summer favorite summer pieces, crop tops and maxi skirts. 

A little style tip: Try to wear your crop tops with something high waisted, that way you only show a little bit of skin and you're not showing you entire belly (which is fine if that is your style). For me, I don't really like to show my belly, that is why I always wear my crop tops with something high waisted.

Back to School Outfit Ideas: College Edition!

Hey loves! 

In today's post I will be officially starting the "back to college" outfit ideas! I know that when I was in college I had two things in mind when I got dressed in the morning: I wanted to be comfortable and look cute at the same time. I paired three outfits that I would wear to college, the three of them are super comfortable and cute. Remember, you can get inspirations from these outfits and make them your own. Everybody has different style, but we can all get a little inspiration! :)
