Plaid is certainly a very trendy pattern, especially for the fall and winter months. I have three different ways you can add plaid to your wardrobe with just a few staple pieces.
The Plaid Shirt
The first one is the famous plaid shirt, a staple piece that you can wear with your favorite jeans or with a skirt. To add a little edgy vibe to your plaid shirt, try to pair it with a leather jacket like I'm doing for this first look.

The Plaid Scarf
Another way to incorporate plaid into your style is by investing on a plaid scarf. A plaid scarf, also know as blanket scarf, is the perfect accessory for your fall and winter closet. They are extremely trendy and they really keep you warm. My favorite thing about plaid scarves is that you can style them so many different ways and you don't have to put a lot of effort into your outfit; wear a simple sweater with a pair of jeans, add your favorite plaid scarf and you'll instantly look chic.

The "Tied Around The Waist" Plaid
This final way to wear plaid is one of my favorites. It is a very trendy and versatile way to incorporate a touch of plaid into your outfits. In this outfit, I am showing you a casual and laid back way to wear the "tied around the waist" plaid. You can also make it more dressy by wearing a pair of heels or booties.
