How to Get: Summer Beach-y Curls (Video Tutorial)

For today's post I wanted to bring you guys something a little bit different from the usual. In this hair tutorial I am showing you my version of the perfect summer hairstyle: beach curls! This hairstyle is really simple to achieve and you'll love the final result. 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Nume's Titan 3 Styling Set (The 1'' barrel) | A Hair Brush | A Heat Protection Spray 

| A Hair-Clip | Hairspray 

1. Brush your hair to get rid of any tangles.
2. Apply a heat protection spray. I'm using the TRESemmé Keratin Smooth. 
3. To prevent any burns, put on the Heat Resistant Glove. Mine came with the Titan 3 Set.
4. Divide your hair into small sections.
5. Plug in your 1'' barrel to the wand.
6. Turn it on and set to your desired temperature. The temperature will depend on the type of hair, for my case I have thick hair so I set it up to 180. 
7. Starting from the bottom, grab a small section of the hair and start curling away from the face. 
8. Hold for a few seconds and then release the hair. 
9. As you curl, leave out the ends for a more beach-y look. 
10. Continue curling small sections of hair, and change the direction of each curl as you go. This will separate the curls and provide more volume.
11.  Repeat the same process until you get to the top section.
12. For the top section, get the barrel as close to the root as possible. This will also provide lots of volume.
13. To frame your face, curl the bangs away from the face.
14. When you're done curling all your hair, run your fingers through the curls to make them look more natural.
15. Apply your favorite hairspray. The one I'm using is the Style Sexy Hair Spray Clay. This hairspray is great because it holds the curls and it also gives you a lot of shine and texture.
16. And voilá! Now you're ready to recreate your beach-y curls!!
